What makes a compelling story? It’s a wide variety of elements. You can bring together any number of parts, but there may still be a missing link, however small or peripheral. It’s this search for the complete picture — the proper order of events and facts — that drives journalists.

Harsh, an editor and a storyteller, caught the bug early on. And after 17 years, he is still trying to nail down that perfect arrangement of information. (Now you know why he’s often anxious.)

Tech-led disruption is a tale for the ages. And Harsh wants to tell it in the best possible way.

Harsh studied physics in college, then took a different road, getting a master’s degree in media and communication studies. He has worked in the newsrooms of Mumbai Mirror, DNA, The Times of India, and The CapTable across three cities. The focus areas have spanned city and state developments, politics, opinions, global affairs, startups, and technology

Throughout his career, he has collaborated with leading journalists and writers and handled various aspects of content creation right from the first newsbreak. He finds great joy in ‘the process’.

Breaking down nuances takes effort. But the reward, of insight and deeper understanding, makes it worthwhile.

Harsh chose The Arc, as he tells it, to grasp how modern businesses reshape swathes of the economy. And how they, too, change along the way to fit in.
